Mission:

Red Door Jackson exists to raise up leaders by building relationships, empowering through education, and discipling in the way of Christ in Jackson, Mississippi.

Vision:

We see our city strengthened through mutually transformative relationships rooted in the goodness of God.

Goals:

  1. Equip students to develop healthy family and community Relationships by teaching and modeling relationship-building skills.

  2. Empower students to attain academic success through one-on-one tutoring that will get them beyond high school and to their careers.

  3. Encourage a life-changing understanding of Jesus Christ through one-on-one Discipleship and summer camp experiences.  

 

What We Do:

  • Provide free one-on-one tutoring to approximately 40 students from Kindergarten through 12th grade on a weekly basis.

  • Partner with neighborhood schools to improve student academic success and personal growth.

  • Collaborate with students’ families to ensure each student is best served.

  • Provide hands-on experiences in the arts, science, and mathematics.

  • Send students to a faith-based, overnight summer camp for a week of challenge and adventure.

  • Encourage long lasting relationships between students and mentors through shared meals and activities outside of tutoring time.
